Wisconsin Winters Will Bring Frozen Pipes

Cold Oconomowoc winters run the risk of frozen pipes. That is exactly what took place in this Waukesha County home, a pipe froze & burst due to the cold winter temps resulting water leaking down through the ceiling and walls of the finished basement bedroom, closet & bathroom. The surrounding drywall was in need of replacement, the floors were dried & both the bathroom cabinetry & closet structures were in need of replacement. All room contents must be carefully removed, cleaned and stored during the remediation & drying process. The SERVPRO Mitigation Specialist monitors the moisture levels on particular equipment. Once the project progresses to a point of drying the construction will move forward, replacing the drywall and necessary furniture & fixtures.
